Therefore, we would like to inform you about the processing of your personal data.

This Clarification Text (“Clarification Text”) has been prepared to fulfill our obligation under Article 10 of the KVKK and aims to provide detailed explanations and information about the processing activities of personal data collected during the use of the services and playing of the Knight Online video game and other games offered through the Game Cafe website at www.nttgame.com. 

About Us

Knight Online and other games licensed by Game Cafe are played across Turkey, and certain personal data is processed in this context.

This Clarification Text applies to all players of Knight Online and other NTT Game games, as well as to those who benefit from NTT Game’s services.

The personal data collected under this Clarification Text is processed by Game Cafe in compliance with the KVKK and related regulations, without violating your fundamental rights and freedoms.

1.      What Personal Data Do We Process?

The personal data we process includes the following:

• Transaction Security Information: IP address. 

2.      How Do We Obtain Your Personal Data?

Your contact information, limited to the categories mentioned above, is provided by you during the account creation process, while transaction security information is obtained electronically during the use of our services.

3.      For What Purposes Do We Process Your Personal Data?

We process your personal data based on the legal reasons and purposes outlined below: 

• To fulfill our obligations under the user agreement you accept during the account creation process, 
• To enable you to play Knight Online and other games we are licensed to operate, and to benefit from the services and offerings provided by NTT Game, 
• To create an account to play Knight Online and other games and to access other NTT Game services, 
• To ensure secure login during account creation, 
• To set a username and password for your game account, 
• To manage the necessary processes for enabling you to play Knight Online and benefit from other services provided by NTT Game. 

In the event you provide your consent for commercial communication in accordance with the Law on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce No. 6563, your personal data may be processed, used, and stored for marketing and sales operations to better offer Game Cafe products and services. Your data may also be transferred to Game Cafe’s business partners, suppliers, service providers, shareholders, affiliates, legally authorized public institutions, and private individuals for promotional, advertising, and informational purposes. Your personal data may be processed under KVKK Art. 5/1 for sending commercial electronic messages (including surveys, market research, satisfaction calls, etc.). The sending of such messages is subject to your consent under both e-commerce legislation and KVKK. 

4.      How Long Do We Store Your Personal Data?

Your personal data will be retained for the duration necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was processed and, in any case, for the duration required by legal statutes of limitation.

In this context, your contact information will be deleted if 10 years have passed since your last account login. Your IP information is stored for a maximum of 2 years as per Law No. 5651 and will be deleted after this period. 

5.      With Whom Do We Share Your Personal Data?

Your personal data may be shared with the following parties for the purposes specified above: 

• Private individuals and legal entities who provide services to us, based on the legal reason in KVKK Art. 5/2-c, which allows processing if it is necessary for the performance of a contract, 

• Authorized public institutions and legally authorized private individuals, based on the legal reason in KVKK Art. 5/2-ç, which requires processing to fulfill a legal obligation of the data controller, 

• Institutions and business partners with which we cooperate, based on the legal reason in KVKK Art. 5/2-f for legitimate interests.

Your personal data is stored on servers located in Turkey and is not transferred abroad. If a decision is made in the future to transfer personal data abroad, such transfers will only be conducted through the methods determined by the Personal Data Protection Board or with your explicit consent. 

6.      What Are Your Rights?

As the owner of your personal data, you can exercise your rights by submitting a request to us with the necessary identification documents and by specifying which rights you wish to exercise using the Data Controller Application Form available on our website.

Depending on the nature of the request, our company will conclude the request as soon as possible, and no later than 30 days. However, if the process requires additional costs, our company may charge a reasonable fee.

As a data subject, you have the right to:

• Learn whether your personal data is processed,
• Request information about the processing of your personal data,
• Learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether it is used in accordance with this purpose,
• Know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred within the country or abroad,
• Request the correction of incomplete or inaccurate personal data,
• Request the deletion or destruction of personal data under the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the KVKK,
• Request the notification of the correction, deletion, or destruction of personal data to third parties with whom your personal data has been shared,
• Object to any negative consequences arising solely from the analysis of your data through automated systems,
• Request compensation if you suffer damage due to the unlawful processing of personal data.
